Released in 1973 this ” Rare Groove” gem was one of those tracks that walked the fine line between Soul and Disco members Lyn Jackson ,Pat Jackson .Rae Jackson ,Gennie Jackson ,Jacqueline Jackson-Rencher originally from Compton, California were to enjoy the majority of their popularity later when a ” Resurgence’ of the style popularized by British DJ Norman Jay named after his “The Original Rare Groove Show” on pirate radio. The term Rare Groove was used to describe a variety of artists with a soulful or jazzy feel, deriving tracks from such genres as Soul , Latin Jazz as well as Disco. According to some local jocks ” I Believe in Miracles” remained on many of their Top 50 lists for a few years after it’s initial release. Great track to get your ” Funk” on !!
